Deployment Operations Manager (Based in HongKong)
GDC Technology is a Singapore incorporated company with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. It is a subsidiary of the Hong Kong Public Listed Company – Global Digital Creations Holdings Limited. GDC Technology pioneers digital cinema, post-production and delivery technologies. We have successfully delivered and installed digital servers in more than 600 cinema theatres all across the world. We are looking to expand our sales team and have an opening for:
Deployment Operations Manager (Based in HongKong)
- Manage day to day operations involved in deploying Digital Cinema throughout Asia

Deployment Management: 1) Create, implement, and supervise GDC’s Network Operation Center (NOC) strategy in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea to insure service monitoring of the digital projection systems and data retrieval for reporting requirements; 2) Manage both GDC’s Field Service Engineers (3 – 5 people in Hong Kong and Singapore) and third party maintenance subcontractors (4 – 6 companies in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand) to insure a smooth installation and on-going maintenance of digital projection systems; 3) Construct and execute operating standards for GDC’s own maintenance organization and third party maintenance subcontractors. – 50%

Reporting: Create and Distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly reports outlining the status of installations, maintenance, and cost recoupment of digital projection systems throughout Asia. – 35%

Invoicing: Coordinate the monthly invoicing process with the Accounting department to insure payment of VPFs by Hollywood studios and local distributors. – 15%
Candidate’s qualifications:
-
5 – 8 years of experience related to Operations management, field service engineering and/or hardware maintenance organizations is required.

Experience on managing both direct reports and third-party subcontractors across different countries and cultures.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Six Sigma Certification a plus but not required
- High level communication, organization and project management skills required.
- Thorough understanding of implementing systems and processes.
- Outwardly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Familiar with working in a cost-center environment
- Fluency in English is required.
- Good command of both written and spoken Mandarin and/or Japanese is a plus.
