Health and Safety Advisor

Our client, a major Oil and Gas Operator, is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advice and support on all aspects of, Environment, Health and Social Responsibility management for The Company.
• Monitor UK activities in relation to NWE ES&SR matters and report to the UK ES&SR Team Leader.
• Maintain and work with the UK ES&SR Team Leader to help improve UK ES&SR performance in line with The Company corporate policies and objectives, using specialists as required.
• Although the role is wide ranging to provide support in a number of key areas the focus is primarily on ensuring that The Company meets all environmental requirements placed on us by DECC in order to operate in the UKCS.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 8 years oil industry experience in an EHS role
• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Thorough understanding of UK Environmental systems i.e. OSPAR and EEMS
• Educated to at least
