Quality Assurance / Control Engineer
LA Requitment LTD Provide advice on and support in relation to project related Quality issues company wide. To function as a QA/QC focal point for all quality related matters that may include, but not be limited to the key responsibilities listed below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a supporting and advisory role on technical Quality matters.
- Provide a supporting role in all company HSE activity.
- Assist in maintaining the Integrated Management System.
- Assist in maintaining certification to ISO 9001.
- Perform internal audits.
- Supplier evaluations; pre-qualifications and auditing.
- Review and approval of supplier quality/certification documents.
- Review, approval and management of supplier QITPs and associated documents.
- Third Party Inspection – arrangement and coordination.
- Assist with preparation of ITTs and evaluation of tenders.
- Prepare and implement project specific HSEQ/IT plans.
- Ensure an appropriate level of quality documentation and certification is completed throughout project activity.
- MRB collation.
- Have an understanding of and be able to identify appropriate levels of certification and inspection applications to oilfield equipment.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal – Interface with all engineers, project and support teams.
- External – Interface client and supplier Quality, Health and Safety as well as Materials and Services representatives.
CHALLENGES AND DEMANDS OF THE ROLE
- Ensure client and company quality requirements are satisfied.
- Ensure positive interface with company, client and supplier representatives.
- Ensure feedback is provided to interested parties in relation to equipment inspection, test and verification activity.
- Engage positively in promotion of all company HSEQ activity.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Technical background – Knowledge of oilfield equipment.
- Good understanding of and ability to interpret appropriate Quality Standards / Specifications and associated documentation.
- Sound understanding of certification requirements and documentation control to include administration skills such as ability to interpret, review and approve supplier and internal documentation.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills with ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
